Close to 200 park supporters attended a fabulous fundraiser last night at the Park Street Cantina. Owner Chris Corso graciously hosted the event in a great space with plenty of margaritas and delicious munchies. DJ Sean Rowe and MC Marshall McPeek kept the evening lively raffling off some great door prizes including:

Down Home Cajun Cookin at the corner of Gay Street and Pearl Alley donated an exquisite gift basket.

Purveyors of the edgeless brownie, located at 11 E. Gay Street donated super brownie offerings.
- Dooley & Company Realtors
The trusted name in realtors, located in the heart of Victorian Village donated gift certificates to select Short North merchants.
- Rafiel's Studio Salon
An Aveda concept salon at 2927 N. High Street donated 2 $40 gift cards for a haircut with Amy.
- Spinelli's Deli
Opening its second location downtown at 50 N. High - next month, donated a catering gift card worth $50.00.
- A Spirits Touch
The essence and tranquility of the Spirit, at 2988 N. High Street donated a $25.00 gift card for any of their Spa services.
- Global Gallery
Columbus' premier fair-trade marketplace, with locations in the Short North and Clintonville donated a gift card.
- Market Blooms
Located in the North Market donated a gift card for a holiday table arrangement.
The event closed with the drawing of three names of folks who will have the distinct privilege of "Pulling the Plug" on Oct. 3, which will begin the draining of Goodale Pond in preparation for fountain construction to begin by late Oct. or early Nov. Close to $2,000 was raised at the event with Chris Corso then matching the funds raised. It was a great evening.
