Goodale Park Needs You!!

Goodale Park needs lots of help this year...from everyone. City budget cuts left one staff member to do all the maintenance in Goodale as well as several other parks. Thus volunteers like Henry Mueller, 2, are pitching in to help. Henry joined the Friends of Goodale Park Saturday Workday, bagged a huge pile of leaves, and had a great time doing it.

Henry had just completed an Easter Basket Hunt sponsored by the German Saturday School - a school dedicated to the language and culture of German-speaking countries. The school usually meets on Saturday mornings at Wellington School in Arlington but selected Goodale Park for their Easter celebration - consisting of crafts, the hunt, and a presentation by the older children of "The Pied Piper of Hamlet" in German.
